Earned Credit – Western International University

In Our Students' Words…

Juanita Guidry Copeland
MBA in International Business, 2002, Owner, Crafty Expressions

"Completing my master program at WIU makes my retirement exciting. I was able to use my MBA thesis as my business plan and start Crafty Expressions. WIU’s global perspective prepared me for conducting business and consulting in the international arena. Other seniors and retirees who have always wanted to pursue degrees and now have both the time and resources would be very interested in WIU. They would be especially interested in courses that include international travel. My instructors taught me such valuable information to help me work in a global environment. For example, I learned how to be culturally sensitive; the importance of identifying a need in entrepreneurship; international laws that pertain to conducting business; and the need to help people help themselves. Classroom experience is relevant and current at WIU."
