I just applied and want to know how many credits transferred into my program of study. When will I be notified?

Generally, once all of your official academic records have been received from all the colleges and universities you attended, the evaluation of your previous academic records will take approximately 4–6 weeks. CLEP, DANTES, and other tests for credit are considered part of your academic record and transcripts must be requested to complete your admissions file.

How will I be notified of my acceptance?

Upon completion of your admissions file and evaluation of academic records, the Admissions Office will mail a letter regarding your acceptance and a copy of your official evaluation of transfer credit.

I just submitted a change of program. When will I know if the change was approved?

Once the change of program form is received by Admissions, the new evaluation can take 6–8 weeks, after which time a letter regarding admission into the new program is sent to you.

I just submitted additional course work from a local school for a course I completed concurrently with my WIU studies. When will I know if the transfer credit was applied?
