WIU Interactive OnlineSM Computer Requirements
Welcome to WIU Interactive Online! The following computer requirements will assure your smooth online education experience. Should you have any questions or need assistance in setting up or checking your system, please contact WIU Technical Support.
Once your system is set up and prior to your first live online class, please be sure to contact WIU Technical Support to perform a headset and microphone check and make sure you are completely ready to begin!
Requirements for Both Windows® and Mac® Operating Systems
- Adobe® Flash® Player and Adobe® Reader® (download current version from www.adobe.com)
- Adobe® Acrobat® ConnectTM meeting add-in (download current version and test system from http://admin.adobe.acrobat.com/common/help/en/support/meeting_test.htm)
- High-speed Internet access: DSL/cable; wired connection recommended
- Monitor with 1024 X 78 minimum resolution
- Headset with microphone (can be purchased at any electronics store)
