Learning Resource Center / Writing Center WIU Prospective Student Information - Individualized learning to help you make your mark.

  
Available to registered students, faculty, and staff, the WIU Learning Resource Center (LRC) provides resources for reference and research, including an extensive assortment of business journals and reference books. Computers are available for research and free e-mail as well as software that accompanies our IT courses. WIU is pleased to announce our new T1 internet connection for our students, allowing for faster and more convenient internet access. 

The Online Library, a comprehensive selection of databases with millions of full text articles, documents, reference sources, directories, and financial data, is also available. To access the Online Library, you must register at least one business day prior to use to allow time for student verification. If you do not have an e-mail account, you should establish one before registering. Our LRC staff is available to help you with research or training for the Online Collection. WIU Writing Center

Available to registered students, the WIU Writing Center provides sample proofreading assistance for course writing assignments. All help is provided via email. To use the Writing Center, students may email papers in a Word attachment to wiulrc@apollogrp.edu. Writing Center Editors may allow no more than 1 hour to review a maximum of 25% of a document. A maximum of one paper per student per course will be allowed. Thesis or Capstone submissions are not accepted. All documents will be returned within three business days.
